I contacted the vendor and they said this is not how the box should be. But unfortunately, they not replace items to India. So, I have to glue the ends back.
Now, for the better part of the post. Yes, I do have some progress made on the JAN cottage

Nice start on January. That's what I'm working on, too. I think the box will be fine if you use some good wood glue and can find a way to hold it in place properly while it dries. Good luck with it.
Your cottage looks cute so far.
Since the manufacturer won't send a replacement to India, I would've asked them for a refund. Hopefully, your box will be ok with some glue.
